Terranova Building and Renovation Services has been building in the Waikato for 12 years. During this time the company has completed a number of projects from new builds, renovations, commercial and residential. We are a small company with a team of four and an in-house Interior Design Service. We pride ourselves on providing a very high standard of workmanship and quality craftmanship you can count on for years to come.

Terranova wins Gold
Terranova Building and Renovation Services won Gold at the 2016 Registered Master Builders House of the Year - which is no mean feat considering the criteria that is required from Registered Master Builders.
The awards are highly prestigious and confirm the Registered Master Builders Association's commitment to building excellence. A Gold is awarded to entrants achieving 90% of the points available (Bronze is 75% and Silver 82.5%).
The build has been a labour of love for owners Sean and Juliet Coleman and it shows the level of quality and integrity in the building and products that have produced this Gold award.
The award was awarded for a relocated and renovated, original 1930s bungalow that was ready to face the future with a family of five in tow.
The millennial makeover meant adding a garage, office, contemporary kitchen with scullery and a whopping three extra bedrooms. The master with ensuite serves the lucky owners in modern style. All windows are now double glazed to keep the interior warm and cosy. They also capture views of the countryside.
A sweeping deck encourages indoor-outdoor flow from the spacious living areas. The portico sets the scene for Sunday brunch or summer barbies, never mind that rain shower.
Matai flooring was stripped, sanded and rescued from stubborn staples. Made to match, new flooring was sourced and laid in the bathrooms and kitchen. Outside, existing weatherboards were removed and replaced with bandsawn additions. Framing was stripped back and given a fresh coat of paint. The exterior is now a black beauty with contemporary contrasting trims.
The build was complimented by the interior design work of Juliet Coleman Interiors.
